The DoD – Allied Nations Technical Corrosion Conference is a critical event that fosters an efficient and effective collaborative environment to not only better understand the impact of corrosion on DoD equipment and infrastructure, but also jointly work toward practical prevention and control solutions.  This effort brings together a diverse spectrum of technical expertise and knowledge representing government, industry, academia, and international corrosion partners.  Participants represent essentially every field related to corrosion prevention and control, including basic and applied research; maintenance and sustainment; research and development; practitioners and manufacturers; and the DoD acquisition workforce.  Through a series of technical programs and events, the conference proceedings are designed to stimulate collaboration and promote information sharing opportunities.  Participants also have the opportunity to interact with respected leaders and recognized subject matter experts across the corrosion community worldwide.

CPL Gary Bell, USMC | Irons & BBQ 2017

Saturday, June 17th, MILSPRAY® team members attended the Irons & BBQ event for CPL Gary Bell, USMC.

A Patriot at heart, Gary enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after the attacks on America on September 11, 2001. He would deploy twice with the Marines of 3rd Platoon, Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment to Iraq and earn a Purple Heart for being injured while suppressing and eliminating enemy fire during the ‘As Sadah Firefight’ in Fallujah, Iraq. Bell succumbed to the perils of PTSD becoming one of the “22 Veteran suicides a day” epidemic. The Irons & BBQ event raised money to put into a trust fund for his two sons, Riley and Parker.

Exercise African Lion 17 Vehicle Washdown

African Lion is an annually scheduled, bilateral U.S. and Moroccan sponsored exercise designed to improve interoperability and mutual understanding of African partner nation’s (APN) tactics, techniques and procedures.

MILSPRAY’s Expeditionary Vehicle Wash System was used in support for African Lion 17 to washdown military vehicles in order to meet Agricultural Cleaning and Inspection Requirements.

MILSPRAY’s Expeditionary Vehicle Wash System takes the concept of environmentally friendly, deployable wash racks to a new level. The system is well suited for field use and is completely containerized in an ACA certified quadcon for embarkability. This simple, easy to use system, reclaims and recycles water so that a continuous water supply is not needed. It has been engineered to require only a small generator as a power source. MILSPRAY’s Expeditionary Vehicle Wash System is an economical alternative to large, centrally located, in-ground systems. MILSPRAY® brings the wash rack to the unit.
