MILSPRAY™ Employees to Get Seriously Silly for Red Nose Day 2016

MILSPRAY Military Technologies™ headquartered in Lakewood, New Jersey will be participating in this year’s annual Red Nose Day on Thursday May 26, 2016.

Did you know the first Red Nose Day was held on the Feb 5, 1988? Red Nose Day originally launched as a national day of comedy.

Red Nose Day is an annual event that aims to support children in poverty around the world with food, medicine and education supplies.

Employees at MILSPRAY™ will be acting seriously silly with their Red Noses along with the company’s red “Believe.Belong.Begin.” T-shirts to work.Believe Belong Begin TShirt 3 mockup

Donations will be amassed within the company and proceeds will go toward the Red Nose Day fund.

The annual Red Nose Day Special will air on NBC at 9 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016. Be sure to share your Red Nose Day moments using any of the Hashtags #RedNoseDay, #RedNose or #MILSPRAYRed.

MILSPRAY’s Senior Director, Engineering & Product Development, Ahmad Zahedi to Attend – NJ MEP ISO 9001:2015 Update

Ahmad Zaheti, Senior Director, Engineering & Product Development

MILSPRAY’s Senior Director of Engineering & Product Development is Ahmad Zahedi. Mr. Zahedi has a diverse range of industry experience in Engineering, Program Management and Product Development for Aerospace, Automation and Power Generation Industries. Prior to joining MILSPRAY™ he was Vice President of Engineering and Program Management at the Westwood division of L-3 Corporation. He has led major projects under contract for NASA, DARPA, US Air Force, Navy and Army as well as internally funded Research & Development Programs. As an entrepreneur, he has owned and operated three businesses including two startup companies.

As an engineer, Mr. Zahedi has developed design and manufacturing methods for Organic, Metal and Ceramic Composites as well as Hollow Titanium Fan Blades. He has chaired the International Society of Automation’s (ISA) SP103 and was Vice President and member of Executive Committee for the FDT Group an international automation standards organization. He has also been active in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the American Helicopter Society (AHS), along with the American Composite Society and has been awarded three patents. Ahmad has worked overseas as Technical Consultant and has led international projects, Technical Partnerships and Revenue Share Programs.

Mr. Zahedi holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He also earned his Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from GE Aviation and has used his business acumen, project management and technical knowledge to design collaborative project management tools, establishing new engineering processes and Digitization of Business Processes resulting in significant performance improvement and cost savings.

Today, Mr. Zahedi will be in attendance at the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) – ISO 9001:2015 Update: Why it is Being Done, What it Means For You workshop. This workshop will be held at the NJMEP Headquarters in Cedar Knolls, NJ from 9:00am-11:00am.
